ACTT Announces a Free Web Development Course

The ACTT program has announced a new class on web development. This class is a response to the overwhelming demand for a web development course expressed on our recent survey.

The web development class will focus on basics of web designing and publishing. This class will be very helpful to anybody who wants to learn the basics of HTML to develop their own simple websites.

The Web Development Classes Have Been Rescheduled

The classes for Introduction to Web Development course have been moved to August 12, August 14, August 16, and August 19. The classes will be held at Davison Hall, Room 109 from 6pm to 8pm.

First-time Job-seeker's Workshop

The ACTT program has partnered with LaTech's IO-Psychology to host a first-time job-seeker's workshop on June 1, 2013 from 9am to 2pm. This workshop is intended to help Louisiana residents with resume writing, interview skills, applications, and more.

ACTT Program Showcase

The ACTT program is going to showcase its accomplishments at 11am on May 14, 2013.

Advanced Certification and Training for Technology (ACTT) courses are being offered to Louisiana citizens at no cost through a grant from the Louisiana Office of Community Development's Disaster Recovery. Coordinated by Louisiana Tech University, the classes are offered quarterly in a variety of venues to support recovery and rebuilding of areas impacted by hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Ike, as well as the long-term recovery of the State's overall economy.
